Meet the Founder

Mackenzie Howard, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

You might look like you have it all together on the surface, but underneath, it can feel like constant motion: anxiety, overwhelm, overthinking, and being “on” all the time. Like waves that never fully settle, you may find yourself pushing through, holding everything together for others, even when you’re exhausted.

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating concerns such as anxiety, stress, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries, relationships, burnout, and life transitions. Therapy can be a space to slow down, better understand the patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing, and explore practical strategies that support your wellbeing.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Adlerian-informed principles, while considering your individual experiences, goals, and needs. My background in education, program development, and child development also informs the way I work with clients.
Sessions are a space where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out. You can show up as you are, and we can work together at a pace that feels manageable.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or would like support navigating something in your life, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to answer your questions and explore whether we may be a good fit.
